Steve “Seaford” Dullahan

Anyone who knew Seaford, knew that this guy was special. Seaford had an uncanny knack of timing. He would always happen to say something hysterical just at the right time or show up at just the right moment. He had a sense of knowing what the truth was and what was right and he would definitely let you know it. He was worldly and wasn’t caught up in what others would think of him. A true rebel so to speak and it showed in his actions and beliefs. He also loved music and drinking. There are MANY Seaford stories people could talk about. He was my roomie for a year. We used to party every night. We decided to start keeping track of how many nights in a row we came home wasted. I remember the number being something like 27. We would wake up in our room at the end of the hall on the second floor of the house, the double on the left, all hung over. He would say to me. “Busa…this has got to stop”….and then we would laugh so hard…. and my favorite is one night we went out to Nunzi’s and we were already wasted before we got there. Many of our friends were going there that night. We went in and got some beers and we both had to pee REAL bad. The place was packed and even the men’s room had a long line! Seaford said screw it – lets go outside. So we did. We stood right outside next to building near a tree close to the parking lot and wouldn’t you know it, but a brother pulls up in his car with two or three girls with him and puts his bright lights right on us! Hearing them calling our names and yelling, embarrassed as hell I turned and looked at Seaford and he says…”Just Ignore It!” Seaford died of AIDS in the early 80s. He worked as a Amtrak ticket rep at Grand Central Station. Seaford, NY was his hometown.
