KEVIN DEWEY
I cried when I first heard...then smiled and laughed when I recalled all the
great times. We used to crowd into Kevin's room to watch Johnny Carson on
a little TV, Kevin painted a cucumber flesh tone, hung it from his belt and
went out on Halloween as a flasher....hilarious. He and Jim Shaw & I drove to
Key West over winter break and spent New Years Eve there December 1978. He
didn't want to come home and we had to practically drag him off the beach.
He got arrested one time for letting the air out of a cop's tires after a
Criminal Justice class. We all loved him.

How sad we all are.....Dewey was quite possibly the funniest person on earth.
I guess they needed another angel in Heaven.
RIP my brother...
Kevin was my little...little brother. Howard Gartman was his big brother and I was
Howard's big brother. He pledged after I graduated, but I got to know him because
I visited Oswego a lot after graduation. At Howard's wedding, at a Holiday Inn,
in the Buffalo area, I told Dewey I want that Holiday Inn flag up on the pole in
front of the hotel. He said...YES SIR...and climbed up and got it! I still have it
to this day. He used to call me.."JUICEEEEEEAHHHHHH"..guy was too funny.
